Stronghold is only existing with the Coordinates

Dear cool and creative Minecraft-Team!

 

We made a Server that is going throgh every Snapshot, and so it came to the point where it loaded many Chunks and one of them was, we thought it would be a real, Stronghold. But my friends and I accounterd a non existing Stronghold. The coordinates said an other word, but we did everything to check it, but it doesn't exist in any range around the coords. I hope it is enogh for you! Please that is a big gamebreaker and how should we have found an other Enderportal?
