1-3 block desert in the new 1.18 Snapshot

So in the Snapshot 21w39a I found a 1-3 block desert. (There was no "21w39a" option in 'Affects Version/s' sp I just chose 1.18+) This occurred at the seed [-4378647110438176816] and the coordinates [1296 90 -92]. This is perhaps the smallest biome to ever be found? I did not think this was intentional, so I was inclined to report this as a bug. I am not sure if this affected future 1.18 snapshots.
