Passive mobs spawning in the middle of oceans

I updated a copy of my old world to 21w42a to see if the blending was in this snapshot and found lots of cows, pigs chickens and sheeps in the middle of the new oceans loaded.
In one moment I was flying fast with the elytra and saw some sheeps falling from the sky into the sea.
