Default vanilla font has certain broken characters when italic, such as /\()xkQ48%^

Steps to reproduce:

1. Copy the § character
2. Paste it into a Book and Quill
3. Type the letter 'o'
4. Type or paste characters such as /()xkQ48%^
5. Observe that the text is italicized, as it would be on previous versions, but it renders somewhat incorrectly and is slightly broken apart

Alternate steps to reproduce:

1. Use an anvil to rename an item, containing some of the aforementioned characters
2. Observe that its tooltip name renders them incorrectly
