Tree generation glitch on chunk boundaries

I found a couple of chunks where trees were "shaved off" more than I've seen before.

The seed is -607429394 (also in the included image) @ 35/123/292 is where I took the screenshot.

I've seen shaved off trees before, but the one giant patch of tree was unusual.
