/locatebiome has issues finding biomes on different Y levels

/execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s 9805.48 1.55 100707.74 365.70 4.95
/locatebiome minecraft:dripstone_caves

If I run that command from Y = 1 then I get a result saying 29 blocks away

If I change my Y level to = 101 then I get a result saying 726 blocks away

Y = 175 then 6555 blocks away

Y= 193 no biome within reasonable distance.

All commands are from the same coords except the Y
