Horse and Creeper duplication

There is a glitch with horses and creepers. I had two horses wearing diamond armor and a saddle. I logged off and when I came back there were 50ish horses. A similar issue happened with creepers. Screenshots are attached.
The game was played by two people via the in game LAN server.
