Breaking the top block of a subchunk near a chunk border sometimes causes brief visual holes

The bug

When breaking a block on the top of a subchunk near a chunk border, the skybox sometimes appears for a few frames. This happens regardless of "Chunk Builder" settings.

To reproduce

1. Press F3 + G to show chunk borders and go to a chunk border.
2. Dig down until a blue line is shown, indicating the top of a subchunk.
3. Break the block.
4. You will sometimes see the skybox appearing for a few frames.
