Chat bug

I had typed in something in the chat box for multiplayer, and when I pressed enter to send it, Minecraft crashed

What I expected to happen was...:
For the message I put in the chat box to send to everybody playing with me.

What actually happened was...:
Minecraft Crashed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press t to chat
2. type a message
3. Press enter to try to send the message
