With command blocks, placing powered blocks doesn't update strongly powered blocks

When a command block places a powered button, tripwire, lever, pressure plate, redstone, it doesn't update strongly powered blocks. See video, also placing a repeater/comparator next to a powered block isn't getting it powered (didn't put it in the video)
