when trying to connect over the lan server one computer doesnt show the others world and the other computer will show it but not connect

me and my brother were trying to connect on the lan server but it wouldnt work, it worked perfectly fine before the update. one computer wont even show the others world, while the other wont connect. it trys but gives the connection timed out message everytime
