Sugar Cane

Was playing minecraft on my crative testing world and was looking throu my old machines I tried myvsugar canes farm and it didnt work! I couldnt find anything wrong until i looked at the water! The water didnt break sugar canes! I tried it in an normal world too. I could place sugar canes in the middle ofnthe osean and it wouldtnt brake!

Please fix this bug..
