Falling in lava and lagging so bad that I can’t place blocks down on the side to get on land in the nether

Lagging in the nether and fell in lava and wasn’t able to place a block down on the side of the bank so I could get out and I died and lost all my stuff and I’m over it I want it fix back so I can have my stuff back it happens almost every time I go in there and I can’t find the Nether fortress looked forever can’t find it I want it fixed I want all my stuff back.
