I can't see armor, weapons, or tools on 1.6.1!

• Please note that this bug occurs in Creative Mode as well as in Survival mode, but I was unable to choose both options. *

When I look at players, I should see the armor they're wearing, and the tool/weapon they're holding, but I don't. All I see is a person, wearing and holding nothing. I don't know how to trigger the bug at all. I've tried switching resource packs from default, and I can't. Please try to help, because I play on PVP servers that require me to gauge my enemies based on their armor and weapons, and I can't see it! Below I'm going to put up a picture of my character wearing full armor in the Inventory menu, but having nothing on his body.

Also, this bug is only effecting me. On the same servers, everyone else I ask sees armor and weapons with no problem at all.
