Lava can make screen orange when not standing in it

When you make the width of your Minecraft screen really wide and stand next to lava (make lava flow from a pillar, make sure lava is 1x1, and into a hole. Place a block next to it, stand next to block, facing toward lava, and look down), your screen will turn orange even if you aren't in the lava.
