Minecraft does not respond

recently my Minecraft java has been crashing/not responding for an unexplained reason and i cant seem to fix the issue. i don't know if its the game itself or my hardware or something i changed but it loads the game in the launcher then a blank white screen appears and it stops responding. at this point i tried to delete and redownload the game 2 times to make sure i didn't miss something but nothings working. and before it was working just fine even when 1.17 was released
