Dripstone Naturally Generating In my Minecraft World

I was playing Minecraft survival and I came across a cave that had naturally generated dripstone. I recreated the world a few times and also noticed inconsistent generation of the same seed, but maybe that was just me looking at it wrong so it's not confirmed or anything.

P.S: The dripstone had no breaking noise and I was using optifine if that affects anything
P.S 2: I also went into spectator mode and noticed that this was not the only instance of dripstone generation
