Hoppers in the 1.17 update will not lock.

When a hopper in the new 1.17 update is powered via a redstone signal, it remains unlocked, and this is shown in the f3 menu. In short, there is no way to lock hoppers in 1.17. If I have missed something, or this is only for Java, please tell me. I'm a redstone enthusiast, and I require locked hoppers, or all of my machines will break.
