User wont change

ok so i changed my minecraft username and i waited like 5 days and it wouldn't change, i had bedrock installed also so i opened that and it turns out i accidently changed it for bedrock even though i knew that i did it for java. Then, i changed my microsoft account on java to the other one with the user change and it still wont work. i dont know what to do.
