Going back through Nether Portal spawning me in the wrong place

So I just created a new 1.17 Minecraft survival world on Java Edition and I made a nether portal in a taiga biome the dream way. It spawned me in a crimson forest. I collected some quartz and mushrooms and then exited the Nether through the same portal and it spawned me in an Extreme Hills Biome 200 block away from where I created the nether portal
