1.17 broke

The recent update of 1.17 broke the minecraft java edition on Arch linux and manjaro (two machines, today, nothing else was updated, except the mc the launcher updated). The launcher starts up fine, but the minecraft game crashes on start, not even the splash screen.

 

PC #1: Arch linux, amd 2700x, 750TI - uses the latest launcher
PC #2: Manjaro, i3-3240, integrated GPU - uses a slightly older launcher

 

$ java --version
openjdk 11.0.11 2021-04-20
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.11+9)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.11+9, mixed mode)

 

Edit: the 1.16.5 version still works just fine on both machines.
