i can not download the game and i have been trying all day it says it has crashed in the prosses of downloading the game

what happened was i was trying to download the game and it can not on my computer its an HP and im wondering if it's the computer or minecraft it's self so please help me as soon as possiable and all that happens is that i have put in my password and username im just downloading and it says it has crashed and to send a report here
