You cannot mine bedrock, you should be able to do that.

Bedrock has a hardness value of 18000000, so it should take about 90000000 seconds (hardness*5) by fist.

Even if I mine for 12 hours straight with haste 127 and efficiency 2147483647 netherite pickaxe, I couldn't do that.
