Lit candle on cake doesnt change textures

What I expected to happen was...:
Candles should change to their lit texture when lit on a cake.

What actually happened was...:
The texture stays the same as it's unlit texture.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put a candle of any color on a cake.
2. Light it and check for texture change.
