Crashing when attempt to resize window

Upon opening the game, I always enlarge the window by dragging the corner as it opens quite small. This repeatedly has crashed either the game, or several times the entire computer with a complete freeze requiring a restart with the power button.

This occurs after pressing play in the Launcher and having the game open up; it occurs in the main intro screen, as well as in both multiplayer and single player, as well as when I am actually into the game.

It's unplayable. Thanks.
