multiple sand in one block

if you place somthing like a repeater or redstone, and then drop a piece of sand onto it, instead of the sand breaking, it floats on top, if you place more sand then they stay floating until the repeater is broken.

if you do break the repeater, all of the sand drops and places into a single block as if it were one piece. the sand can be broken individually untill all of it is broken.
