Armor stands don't take lava damage while in lava

If you put an armor stand in lava. Then put another armor stand in flowing lava next to it, so that the armor stand moves until it's on a solid block.
You will notice that the armor stand in the lava does not get destroyed whilst the armor stand that went through lava starts taking fire damage when its out of lava.
