After starting up minecraft,When i try to play on a server or on singleplayer,it freezes.

when i start up minecraft and play any of my worlds, it works for a few seconds then freezes and crashes.same for servers.It says Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working.A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.no matter how many times i try i get the same result....Please help!!
