The underground aquifers do not have a barrier at the edge of the cave causing water to flow out.

The Aquifers cave has a short edge, keeping the water flowing.
What actually happened was...:
The Aquifers cave doesn't have a short edge, causing a large amount of water to flow out, and it's not like you might think
