Sculk Sensors won't power blocks

When you have a block that is powered by a sculk sensor there is no output (Even Repeaters don't work). I am not sure if the developers are trying to make the sculk sensor like the Redstone blocks (Direct Power). I am just sending this to see if this is intentional.
