Lichen "reverse duplication" bug

When placing 2 "Glow Lichen" items (1 vertically and 1 horizontally) in the same 1x1 space, and you destroy them using shears, they automatically break together, but you only get one piece back (see video attached).

I would also like a refund of all lichens spent please
