Bug report about not getting drowned with trident

Hello
My name is Kaja and I've played Minecraft for a while now
in latest snapshot, after revisiting my old world that I've played I made a trident farm which depends on transforming zombie into a drowned unit and after playing for quite a few hours I couldn't get any turned drowned with a trident
I don't know if its a bug but for sure it wasn't on patchnote list

Hope yaar doing ok, and i hope to get this explained asap
