Minecart with Hopper faces X after a block is broken under it

I haven't really done much research, like if other minecarts have this same problem, or if it affects other versions, or other platforms, but I do know about it on the Snapshot.  I was working on a stove build hack with that minecart and it wouldn't work, so I turned the whole structure around. If you could check other versions. platforms, and other minecarts, that would be great.
