Can't connect to any 1.6 servers!

After updating to 1.6 I tried to connect to some servers.
It says " Can't reach server", " No connection"
So I downgraded back to 1.5.2 all 1.5.2 servers work fine with me but the 1.6 servers was online when I was using 1.5, I just needed to update to 1.6... I need help ! The first screen shot is my 1.5.2 minecraft, notice how the 1.6.1 server is online but I just need to update it? The second screen shot is my minecraft 1.6 version, no servers are up for this 1.6 someone please help me
