Glow squids and axolotls spawn to much!

I made a 6x1 water tunnel with stone surrounding it keeping the water from flowing out, and axolotls and glow squids are spawning way too much naturally in it. The water tunnel has soul sand at the bottom of it, it was going to be an elevator.
