Breaking stone with netherite pickaxe drops stone instead of cobblestone

I was using my chiseled stone bricks for my house, I broke a block of stone off but instead of dropping cobblestone it dropped stone instead. It is still doing it now, it does it whenever I use my netherite pickaxe
