Light and barriers don't spawn particles in survival mode

The bug

In Survival Mode, particles will not spawn when holding a light or barrier. (However, the hitbox is visible when the crosshair points to it)

How to reproduce

1. Place a barrier or light in Creative mode
2. Switch your game mode to Survival
3. Hold a barrier or light item
   The block particle is not present on the barrier or the light

Expected behavior

While holding the item, the particle would show within the light or barrier.
