Joining worlds

We need a friends list please, this is because we can invite people to our world. My friend and I are not connected to the same internet and we tried everything we could, but nothing worked. It's either that I don't know how to join a world without the same internet connection, or it is not developed yet. Does anybody have an answer to this?
