Cannot connect to LAN Server since Snapshot

Since the Snapshot I've been unable to join my friends LAN server, it just times out and presents error code io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out repeatedly. Trying to join a local server with a 192. IP on the 16.5 base version doesn't work either - all server connections just time out and present the same error code.
