[MC-219849] Fishing doesn't animate or render the rod, line or bobber anymore

The Bug

If you cast a fishing rod, nothing will appear to happen besides the appropriate sounds. If you wait, the swimming fish animation does work and you can actually still fish.

How to reproduce

Get a fishing rod
Right-click with it onto water
→ The hand animation for "using" the rod plays, as well as the related sounds
→ The water particles and swimming fish particles appear
→ The fishing rod in your hand as well as on the hotbar don't switch to the cast texture
→ No fishing line or bobber appear
