[MC-218803] Major visual glitches after update to OpenGL 3.2 Core Profile (caused by outdated/unsupported graphics card drivers)

I just loaded Minecraft to check out the new snapshot and this is what I saw.
All of these visual glitches are also flash at really high speeds.
When I have an item in my hot bar some of it goes away for some reason.
When I'm in the creative inventory the glitch changes based on what item my mouse is hovering over.
