Mobs sometimes float after they get knockback

If you have a mob in a 1x1 space and you attack it, there is a tiny chance that it will float for a second or longer in midair about 1/2 a block above the ground. This seems to be most common with skeletons with enchanted gold armor, but I have seen it in regular unarmored skeletons and also a witch once.
