Lapis ore (and some others sometimes) does not generate in the deepslate variant in deepslate caves

I noticed that in the deepslate caves, the deepslate variant of lapis ore simply did not generate naturally. I saw this with gold ore and redstone ore, but normally the others were generating properly. It was only the lapis ore that never generated in the deepslate type.
