When trying to leave a world its stuck on the Saving world screen until I reset my computer.

I am on Mac and when selecting the save and leave it goes into the saving world screen and is stuck there, when looking to see if it crashed and askes you to force quit the game it doesn't let you no matter how many times you press quit until you have to shut down and restart the device. I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem yet.
