Spawner Bug

I Joined a single player world and I did normal stuff like getting iron and stuff and i was mining and I found a Zombie Dungeon. I found some stuff in it (Enchanted Golden Apple. I know I'm Lucky) And When I broke the spawner the particles stayed there. There were fire particles just in the same place. After I saw this I left to go report it then I forgot I needed a screen shot. I went back and it was gone. No more particles. So I couldn't get a screen shot. I tried in creative mode to duplicate what I had done but it didn't work. This could also just be a bug for me. or a glitch.
