Player accelerates incorrectly when climbing up blocks along the X axis and pushing against a block on the left or right side

When climbing up blocks along the X axis while pushing up against a block on the left or right side, the player accelerates much faster than when climbing up blocks along the Z axis. During normal gameplay, this is most noticeable when climbing out of a mine.
