The shortcuts aren't working properly

For some reason, none of the shortcuts are working. I can't do the F3+H, it doesn't work. The transferring thing, where you ctrl click an item and it goes into the chest, that doesn't work either. They aren't major things, but it's the reason I got Java as well as Bedrock. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but none of the people I've asked can help.
