Inconsistency with blackstone and stone pressure plate drops compared to buttons

The drops of blackstone and stone pressure plates are inconsistent with buttons. When broken by hand, both stone and blackstone buttons drop. When you break stone or blackstone pressure plates by hand however, they do not drop. This seems unusual because buttons and pressure plates are pretty much the same.
