Floating Lichen in stronghold

When a cave and a stronghold intersect with each other it seems that the glowing lichen that's supposed to spawn on the cave wall isn't removed from inside the stronghold. This results in the glowing lichen floating in the middle of the hallway of the stronghold as seen in the picture below:
