Lauching problem on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

I purchased Minecraft Java Edition for Mac on February 6th (see invoice attached) ; I downloaded the launcher here : https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft.dmg.

Then I dragged and dropped the "Minecraft.app" file in the Applications folder then launched it.

(My current OS is : Mac OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6)

When I open the "Minecraft.app" file from the applications folder, the game logo shortcut jumps endlessly in my dock but the game never launches.

I've read in some forums that the problem could explained by an obsolete Java version ; thus I installed the "Java 8 Update 281" update then launched the game once more but the problem remains unsolved.
